Spend this holiday in Whoville

Celebrate the holiday classic “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” by coming to EPL Saturday, Dec. 22.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the library will transform into Whoville and a number of activities will be going on throughout the building.

To start things off, the original classic will be played on a loop all day. The Grinch will drop in for a visit from 10 a.m. to noon and give a gift-wrapping demonstration.

Bring your little one dressed as Cindy-Lou Who or dress up yourself and have a picture taken for our Who Look-a-Like contest. TapSnap will be on hand to take your digital photo, and voting for the winning Whos will take place on our Facebook page.

The Zephyr Wind Quintet of the Elkhart County Symphony will perform from 10 to 11 a.m., and then host an instrument petting zoo from 11 a.m. to noon for everyone to try out Who-whoopers and Gar-dinkers.

In the lower level, from 10 to 11 a.m., preschoolers can experience a Grinch-themed party with games and activities.

Also around the library, visitors can snap a selfie with Whos, play Pin the Heart on Grinch, and more.
