Things to do in Elkhart for fall and Halloween

Activities, parties and more are part of the fun in October for Halloween and autumn celebrations.

Elkhart Public Library is hosting events for the whole family. We’ve rounded them all up here, plus other local events, and will continue to update it with local trick-or-treat times. Stay tuned.

Monday, Oct. 16

Pierre Moran Branch will have Halloween Crafts Grab and Go available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 18

Pierre Moran Branch hosts Mini Pumpkin Decorating from 4 to 6 p.m.

Teens create Spooky Terrariums at 4:30 p.m. at the downtown library.

Thursday, Oct. 19

The Halloween Party at Pierre Moran Branch is from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 21

Wellfield Botanic Gardens hosts Monsters in the Gardens from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The City of Elkhart Parks and Recreation Department hosts its 11th Annual Island Park Trunk or Treat from Noon to 2 p.m. at Island Park.

Thursday, Oct. 26

The Elkhart Environmental Center hosts Haunted Walks Through the Woods from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Elkhart Environmental Center.

ArtWalk hosts Trick or Treat Main Street from 5 to 8 p.m. in downtown Elkhart.

Friday, Oct. 27

The Cleveland Branch hosts a free showing of “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania” at 1:30 p.m.

The downtown library hosts its Halloween Party from 3 to 5 p.m.

The Elkhart Environmental Center hosts Haunted Walks Through the Woods from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Elkhart Environmental Center.

The Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds hosts their Trick or Treat at the Fairgrounds event from 1 to 5 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 28

Dunlap Branch hosts Fall Fun with the Family at 10 a.m.

The City of Elkhart Parks and Recreation Department hosts the Pine Not-So-Haunted Woods Walk from 5 to 7 p.m. at Pinewood Park.

Tuesday, Oct. 31

The downtown library hosts its annual Halloween Parade at 10 a.m.

The Elkhart Chapter of Indiana Black Expo is hosting a Trunk or Treat event at the Elkhart Housing Authority from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

The City of Elkhart’s Trick-or-Treating hours are 6 to 8 p.m.

The City of Goshen’s Trick-or-Treating hours are 5:30 to 8 p.m.
