Things to do for the holidays and winter break at EPL
Make the best of the festive season with activities and events at Elkhart Public Library. There is sure to be something for everyone.
Remember that all library locations are closed on Dec. 24 and 25 and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for the holidays.
Monday, Dec. 9
From 3 to 6 p.m. enjoy Family Gingerbread Decorating at Dunlap.
Saturday, Dec. 14
At 1 p.m. Songs in the Stacks returns Downtown as members of the Elkhart County Symphony Orchestra’s Zephyr Winds group will accompany a story read by a librarian and share holiday songs.
Monday, Dec. 16
At 2 p.m. at Osolo adults can make an ornament diffuser. Click here to register as space is limited.
From 4 to 6 p.m. downtown, our annual Christmas Party with Santa and Mrs. Claus include free photos with Santa, stories, activities and a free book while supplies last.
Tuesday, Dec. 17
At 4:30 p.m. downtown teens can make hot cocoa with our available toppings bar.
Wednesday, Dec. 18
At 5:30 p.m. downtown enjoy a special evening Storytime and find out what snowmen do at night.
Friday, Dec. 20
From 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. create a gingerbread house with all of our available materials.
Monday, Dec. 23
Come by Pierre Moran all day to pick up a free craft that you can make at the library or take home with you.
Monday, Dec. 30
At 3 p.m. downtown hosts a Glow Party for preschoolers. Dress in white or neon so that you can glow too.

Visit Osolo during open hours through Friday, Dec. 13, and find their Elf on a Shelf and get a prize.
Come to Pierre Moran during open hours through Friday, Dec. 13 and make a card for area seniors. Or just drop a card off.
From Dec. 16 to Jan. 4 visit Osolo during open hours for a free craft to make. The craft will change weekly during winter break.
Cleveland hosts Winter Break Boredom Busters all day from Dec. 26 to Jan. 4. The branch also shows a movie at 1:30 p.m. on Fridays Dec. 27 and Jan. 3.
