New features added for payment, browsing local history

Elkhart Public Library has made searching for local history and paying for research easier than ever with the addition of a shopping cart and PayPal payment features to our website.

EPL offers up 1.5 hours of staff research assistance for those that make requests on our website. Now this service can be paid for using PayPal.

Additionally, when searching our obituary database or local history database, simply click on the “Request a scanned copy” button and it will add your selection to your shopping cart, making adding multiple articles easier to track and pay for.

Then checkout like you would at any online retail site with PayPal.

Research requests come in from around the country and sometimes even the world, so making it easier and more streamlined for the public to find and pay for the items they’re searching for is another way the EPL is empowering and enlightening our diverse communities.
