7/16/1965 Open House Edition pg. 10 IN CONFERENCE -- Here is the large conference room in the executive wing of the Communicana Building. The room is large enough to seat a number of persons and is used to conduct staff conferences. In charge of this conference is Allen H. Swartzell (center), general manager. Around the table (from left) are Merle R. Noles, secretary-treasurer of the Communicana Group, Ed Eybers, production co-ordinator; Howard Trautman, manager of the Display Advertising Department, and James P. McNeile, general news executive. 7/16/1965 Open House Edition pg. 3 EXECUTIVE SECRETARIES -- Flanking the decorative panel in the executive wing are secretaries, Viola Robison (left) and Carol Stutzman. Mrs. Stutzman has been secretary for Communicana Group president John F. Dille Jr. for 13 years, and Mrs. Robison recently was employed to perform joint duties for Allen H. Swartzell and Paul B. Brines. The stained glass panel which attracts the interest of visitors, was part of a skylight in the Equity Building. Dille directed its removal, restoration and new placement to preserve part of the original building.
7/16/1965 Open House Edition pg. 22 COMMUNICANA GROUP advertisers and Truth staff members have refreshments after visiting the Communicana Building. Advertisers got a guided tour Monday, while families and guests of Truth employes got the first peek at the building Sunday. Open houses for representatives of other news media and area dignitaries also were held during the past week. Climax for the week-long reception will be Saturday with an open house for the public.
