7/16/1965 Open House Edition pg. 19 PRESS SETUP -- Ed Eybers looks on as Bob Gardner places one of the curved printing plates in the press. Each curved plate prints a single page, making 40 of these necessary for a 40-page daily newspaper. After the press run is completed, the plates are melted down for re-use another day.
