REAL Talk: Reflections of a Heart Attack Survivor

February 27 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

REAL Services and Elkhart Public Library present “Real Talk,” a series of educational programs for adults.

Mia Albert is a Hospice Care Consultant for Heartland Hospice. She’s a registered nurse with 15 years of experience, and a heart attack survivor.

As someone living with premature heart disease, Mia is passionate about educating others on the risks they may also be living with, how they can care for their own heart health, and also how they can advocate for themselves within the healthcare system.

This cookies and coffee talk will last about 45 minutes, with time set aside for Q&A. Click here to register at the REAL Services site.

These events at EPL will take place at 11 a.m. the fourth Tuesday of every other month, February through December.
