Ride the waves and catch ‘Moana’ for free

moana_frontDisney’s Moana  |  Free showing  |  10am Wednesday, July 26

It’s the story of a girl who loves her island and a girl who loves the sea, conflicted between the two. It’s also a story sometimes told through song.

Moana has been chosen by the sea. Her father, the village chief, has forbidden anyone to sail beyond the safety of the reef. When the livelihood of her village is threatened, Moana, a future chief herself, makes a decision to defy her father and sail the ocean in order to save her people.

Along the way, she finds Maui, a once-great demigod she believes can help her. Together, Moana and Maui encounter the ups and downs of your average cross-ocean voyage, coconut pirates, crabs covered in gold, and the other usual stuff.

“Moana” is a 2016 release from Disney (rated PG) and features the talents of Auli’i Cravalho, Dwayne Johnson (who knew The Rock could sing?), and more in this action-packed film.

Don’t forget that it’s still not too late to sign up for the 2017 summer reading program. While you’re here to enjoy “Moana,” make sure you sign up and get qualified to win some great prizes, like Amazon gift cards, LEGO sets and more!
