Featured Review

I listened to Neil Gaiman’s new book, NORSE MYTHOLOGY (FAN, Audiobook, Ebook, Audio ebook), and then read the first two books in the new Rick Riordan MAGNUS CHASE AND THE GODS OF ASGARD trilogy, THE SWORD OF SUMMER (JFIC, Audiobook, Ebook, Spanish Language) and THE HAMMER OF THOR (JFIC, Audiobook, Ebook). It was especially good to listen to Gaiman’s retelling of the ancient tales first – you gotta listen because there is such a good storytelling element – and then read the children’s books because it is neat to see how those old tales are interwoven and retold for a new audience. ~Katrina, Reference
