YOU can encourage the next generation of writers, right here in Elkhart!
Elkhart residents can help judge West Side Middle School’s language arts writing contest. The students’ assignment was to to write an engaging, cohesive narrative with at least four well developed scenes. The school is partnering with the Library to open the last round of judging to the public. The top picks were selected by West Side students and teachers, and the winners of that competition are now participating in a city-wide contest hosted by the Library.
Go to myepl.org/stories between now and November 11. Read some or all of the stories and give each one you read a star rating. Enjoy!
