Her hope in writing this book was that others could learn from things she discovered about her son after this massacre and, in hindsight, recognized as possible red flags. You can feel the panic and horror of Sue and her husband when they learned that something horrible was happening at the school. Sue loved both her sons very much and, until this time had a very “normal” family. To learn that Dylan was involved in this shooting was unimaginable to her.
