NIGHT CIRCUS: One Book, Many Magical Activities

SL-OBOM 2015

“The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it.
It is simply there, when yesterday it was not.”

Discover the magical world of Le Cirque des Rêves!

Erin Morgenstern’s 2011 debut novel, THE NIGHT CIRCUS, is this year’s selection for
One Book, One Michiana, a month-long, community-wide series of events centered on a single book selected by the St. Joseph County Public Library. THE NIGHT CIRCUS is an “utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night.”

The Circus is Coming!

We will kick off our One Book, One Michiana festivities at the Main Library with A Day at the (Night) Circus on Saturday, March 28, from 9 am to 1 pm. Join us for games, prizes, balloon animals, face painting, and a magician! Throughout April, you will be treated to magic shows, circus & steampunk projects, special movies, dress-up photo ops, and a fantastical array of activities to amaze and amuse the child in each of us.

Welcome to the Big Top!

“You’re in the right place at the right time, and you care enough to do what needs to be done. Sometimes that’s enough.”
