Elkhart History – Shafer and Clinton Suggs

For Black History Month, Elkhart Public Library is highlighting individuals that have called Elkhart home. In this piece we look at two of the Suggs brothers, Shafer and Clinton, who were decorated athletes and went on to successful careers in the NFL and military, respectively.
