Dunlap reopening showcases an American Idol winner in concert

We’re celebrating the grand reopening of our Dunlap Branch on Tuesday, June 14.

Join us at 4 p.m. for a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Greater Elkhart Chamber. Take a tour of the new space and enjoy refreshments. Froggy 102.7 will be broadcasting live.

Then, at 7 p.m., American Idol season 16 winner Maddie Poppe will perform with her band. The concert is free and will take place rain or shine. Maddie is touring in support of her newest release, “One That Got Away.” She won the famous ABC singing contest in 2018, and was just featured in the May 2022 reunion show. Her sound has been shaped by the artists she loves, including Lily Allen and Sheryl Crow.

The renovated Dunlap Branch includes more space for reading and browsing, meeting spaces for studying and collaborating, and – after landscaping is finished – a garden and outdoor seating.

The branch renovation project is set to wrap up later this year, with the Osolo and Pierre Moran locations nearing completion.
