Celebrate the Summer of Love with music

Celebrating 50 years since the original, Elkhart Public Library is bringing some of the Woodstock experience home this summer.

OxStock, a Peace. Love. Library. Concert Experience, will take place Saturday, July 27, at Ox Bow County Park with support from 1st Source Bank. This unique music event features a nationally touring Jimi Hendrix tribute band, local musicians, great food, and a 21-and-over beer garden – all happening in the beautiful outdoor setting of the Ox Bow meadow.

Entry into the park for the concert will be $10 per vehicle, and advance tickets are available for purchase here. Early buyers will access the express lane into the park for quickest entry on the day of the show.

Kiss the Sky, billed as the “world’s greatest Jimi Hendrix tribute,” fills the headliner role. All three bands feature local talent, delivering a mix of rock, blues and Americana music reminiscent of the era.

Five Star Dive Bar will be serving exclusively in the 21-and-over beer garden. Great local food from vendors like Hotdogeddy, That Guy’s Ribs, All Over Creations, and ParmaJacos will be on sale around the meadow area.
