America’s News has the local sources

Elkhart Public Library is dedicated to giving the public access to local news from anywhere.

Getting the news online can be difficult with paywalls, but EPL has the resources you need to be able to get the news you want. The news that matters the most to you.

Using our Digital Library, patrons can access America’s News, an online resource that allows dozens of Indiana and hundreds of national newspapers, magazines and even TV news broadcast transcripts.

Locally, it incudes Ekhart Truth articles and South Bend Tribune full newspaper scans. All are available the same or the next day.

America’s News also includes an impressive archive of many publications, both current, as well as out-of-print. If you’re looking for historical articles or doing research, it has you covered there as well. There’s also links for searches based on COVID-19, trending news topics, special reports and topical news such as business, economics, health and sports.

This resource is available through the Elkhart Public Library Digital Library, which is always open at myepl.org/info247 for EPL cardholders. The Digital Library has an array of resources offering ebooks, audiobooks, streaming TV and movies, homework help, language lessons, genealogy, crafting help and much, much more.
