These are strange and scary, but historical times. We are truly living through history with the economic shutdown to combat the COVID-19 virus.

In order to better preserve the memories of this time, Elkhart Public Library is opening a special community journal, a Quarantine Capsule, if you will, for the people of Elkhart County and surrounding areas to submit work for archival purposes related to the COVID-19 quarantine.

Do you have a story to tell? Have you written a poem? Made some artwork?

We want to collect these stories and items for preservation and community use in the future.
